So immediately after finishing Kali's senior session, we met up with the whole Roche family at Memory Grove for the family session. Tiffany and I love this family and spent a lot of time with them for Andrea and Trevor's wedding in Nauvoo Illinois. I can't believe Andrea and Trevor already have a new baby. I always love when my past brides start having babies of their own :) Thanks so much for having me shoot your family pictures and thanks to Andrea for the millions of brides she has referred to me :) Here are a couple of my favorites.

Kali is from Idaho and is the sister of Trevor (who married Andrea). She also has some mad skills in sports. This same day I also shot the Roche Family pictures which will be posted on the blog soon. A few years ago I also shot Kimbra, Kali's Sister. The Roche family rocks and I was so glad Kali wanted me to do her senior pictures too. Here were some of my favorites.
So I've made it my personal goal to get more pictures of my kids this year, so last Monday we went down to the Gateway to let them play in the water fountain. I edited the project in iMovie '09 and shot it with my 5d mark II and 24-70 & 70-200 IS lenses. I hope to post more of these personal videos soon :)

Many of you will remember one of my most awesome past brides and good friend Heather. Well just wanted to share a recent success with their True Birds hair accessory business. They can now be found in all Nordstrom stores with an accessory department Nationwide. That is such an awesome feat and congratulations are in order to Heather and Heidi for their shared success. Head on over to their website for more info on True Birds
I just had one of the most awesome sessions every tonight. Hailey and Nic have known each other since elementary school and I consider myself VERY lucky to have been chosen by them to be their wedding photographer. Tiffany and I were able to meet Hailey and Nic together for their initial consultation and we both fell immediately in love with these guys. They are so adorable together and have to be the sweetest people ever. I feel like I've known these guys forever and I immediately felt connected to them. I was so excited for their session today because we planned on shooting at the elementary school where they knew each other as kids and also where Nic proposed to Hailey not too long ago. After the session, Hailey and Nic took me out to my favorite restaurant in the whole world, Garcia's in Layton. I was so excited to finish these photos that I immediately began to edit them when I got home and just finished up so I could share them with you guys :) I think I might just be super proud of this session and as I was editing them, I couldn't help but smile and tear up a few times because of the intense love these guys share and because of the awesome people they are. It might just be impossible to NOT be happy around them. I look up to them and am SO glad that I was able to spend tonight with them documenting their love. Anyways, I don't mean to talk your ears off, let's get on with the pictures shall we?
