Wykstra Family Session

Did ya guys miss me? Well I missed you more :P Here is a session that I did last week for the Wykstra Family. Amber was our Mortgage Officer and worked very hard to get us in our dream home. She was so awesome to work with and I recommend her to anyone looking for someone to work with. Plus I have just teamed up with Amber and Bank Of Utah and anyone that closes their mortgage with Amber will receive a complimentary family session with me as well as a free 11x14 Print. Anyways, shameless plug :P Amber's family was way adorable and I really enjoyed shooting with them. Here were some of my favorites from the session.

Morgan Senior Photos

This is my wife Tiffany's Niece Morgan. She is a senior this year and I can't believe that over the past 10 1/2 years that Tiffany and I have known each other, she has grown up so much. Man how time flies. Morgan only wanted a few pictures to send out in her announcements, so we went over to Layton park for a mini session. These were my fav 5 from the session. Stay tuned for a killer groomal session that I am gonna post on Tuesday.

A Day with the Funks - Sneak Peak

Last Saturday, I had the chance to spend the morning with the Funk Family at their home. I am currently working on editing the video portion but thought I would post a very small sneak peak with some of my favorite stills. I had such a fun time and can't wait to show you guys the finished session with the video clips. So stay tuned, and for those of you that aren't familiar with the music of Jessie Clark Funk, go and check it out, she is one of the most talented singers I know and I am a huge fan of her music.

Becky saved my life.....

well almost saved my life. This black Friday Tiffany and I hung out at Walmart from 12 midnight til 5 AM when their doorbuster sale started. Tiffany was hovering over a can of playdough and I was hovering around the dvd bins waiting to grab up a handful of the $2 DVD's they offered. Well around 4:30 AM the McDonald's man was walking around the corner with a bag full of burritos and was asking if anyone "wanted" a burrito. I was hungry so said I wanted one, he came over and pulled out a breakfast burrito and handed it to me, after the burrito was in my hands I realized it must not be free as he was sitting staring at me with a handful of bills in his other hand. I didn't have the $1 in cash required to pay for the burrito and started to fell really stupid when Becky (whom I had been making small talk with) came to my rescue and paid the $1 for me. She saved me from total embarrassment and I felt indebted to her, so I gave her my business card and told her I would shoot her family pictures for saving me from embarrassment and as a thank you. :) Her little daughter Payton is so darn adorable and behaved very well for the pictures. Here were a couple of my favorites.
